Meetings are held each month, usually on the second Tuesday in the form of either a product night, forum or workshop. QIDA’s events are specifically designed to keep our members informed and actively engaged with the industry. We achieve this by working closely with our Associate members to host a variety of functions including workshops, training sessions and product launches. These provide exposure to industry news, trends, products and innovation. In addition to gaining building industry knowledge and keeping it up-to-date, participation at QIDA’s events provides members with important and valuable networking opportunities. Our gatherings are fun, relaxed and supportive, offering members opportunities to meet associates and make new friends.
As a QIDA member, this is the event where you can have a say in who will represent the Association for the coming year. Under the QIDA model rules, the existing management committee will retire from their positions and all positions will be declared vacant.
Please find attached a nomination form detailing the management committee positions available for 2017/18. You can also find this form on our website http://www.qida.com.au/About/CommitteeMembers/tabid/183/Default.aspx
If you would like to be more involved in your Association by joining the committee, please complete the attached nomination form and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 14 July.
We encourage you to come along to the AGM. The President and Treasurer will present their 2016/17 reports, and members will hear about the vision, strategy and targets proposed for the coming period.
If you would like to know more about any of the management committee positions please contact QIDA President, Virginia Bishop on 0455 693 339 or by emailing email@example.com
